Maree/Oranmore fc kindly sponsored by The Galway Clinic would sincerely like to wish all a very happy new year and as a club we are finally hoping to commence our new 4g pitch development early in the new year which is so badly required in our growing community.

U11 Tournament

Over the Christmas break our u11 boys competed very well in a Tournament hosted in Fahys Field with Knocknacarra fc, Salthill Devon, Mervue and Maree/Oranmore fc taking part.

Bagpacking

Meanwhile on Christmas Eve 23 club players and 15 Club coaches/parents assisted in our annual club backpacking in Dunnes Stores Briarhill where the generosity of customers and staff was very much appreciated. Thanks to our own Mike Quirke for coordinating the event and the management and staff of Dunnes Stores for affording us the opportunity to fundraise.

Last Man Standing

Our club Last Man Standing is near completion for the Thousand Euro First prize. The three remaining punters are Caoimhe Joyce, Michael Dillon and Laura Gibbs. We wish them well and thanks to Club registrar Brian Geraghty for his hard work.

New Year Schedule

Our younger Academy training(u6 to u10 boys and girls) resumes after the Christmas break on Saturday week, January 11th at normal times in Oranmore while our older competitive sides will resume training this week.
