Data Protection and Privacy Policy and Players Code of Conduct Data Protection and Privacy Maree Oranmore FC uses this data to register the player(s) with the relevant leagues which includes passing on the players and parents personal data (including name, email, gender, DOB, phone number) and for football related communications. This data is also shared with authorized club coaches/managers who need it to communicate information about training and fixtures and for them to be able to contact parents/emergency contacts in the case of an emergency. Medical details (if provided) are also shared with team coaches/managers for awareness and in case of an emergency where this information may need to be passed on to medical staff. Data obtained via the registration process is only kept for the period of the current registered season and a further 2 seasons thereafter. Any member leaving Maree Oranmore FC must inform the Club Secretary, Code of Conduct - Players 1. Play by the rules. 2. Accept the referee’s decision and let your coach ask any relevant questions after the game Control your temper. 3. Verbal abuse of officials, coaches or other players, are not acceptable or permitted behaviours in soccer or in our Club. 4. Always do your best and be committed to the game, your team and your Club. 5. Be a good sport; applaud all good play whether by your team or the opposition. 6. Respect your team mate/opponent. 7. Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not ‘bully’ or take unfair advantage of another player. 8. Cooperate with your coach, team-mates and opponents. Without them there would be no game. 9. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion. 10. Winning and losing is part of the game. Shake hands with your opponents and thank the referee after the game. 11. Swearing, cursing or use of bad language is not acceptable. 12. Remember you are representing your Club 13. The aims of the game are to have fun, improve your skills and feel good. 14. Participate for your own enjoyment.
